Peasholm Park is a short stroll away from the North Bay in Scarborough. Set in a
Japanese Style the Park host a variety of objects from the Wishing well, pagoda
to the dragon boats and oriental lake. In the middle of the large lake is an island
set with Japanese style buildings and gardens.
Not only that it attracts tourist it also boast of wildlife who use the park to
sleep, feed and swim. These are wild birds such as Geese, ducks, hens, Seagulls to
swallows and finches. Squirrels are also known to sit, watch, play and seek food
within the shaded area of the trees
A few yards from the entrance of the entrance, Peasholm Park offers a cafe and seating
area. The dragon boats nestled in the Centre of the lake can be used to see the
island and its beauty . The magnificent bridge can be seen from here and the Seagulls
perch themselves on the heads of the dragons
